Kate is invested in becoming a part of the solution. She learned about the challenges facing birthing parents growing up in Baltimore and her focus in school quickly shifted from biochemical engineering to midwifery. 

Moving to Maine in 2013, Kate worked with nearly a dozen midwives before joining Soft Corner in 2020. Her goal to is to partner with you during this exciting time, offering facts and education so you can make the best choices for your family. She is a firm advocate of evidence-based practice and stays up to date on current issues, continuing education, journals, conferences and community peer review.
