Lactation
Newborn Feeding
Empowering and holistic lactation care with IBCLCs to meet your personal goals for your family. Get the lactation and feeding support you deserve.
Natural? Easy? I mean sorta, bodyfeeding is a skill. In a world that says bodyfeeding is free and automatic, the reality parents experience is often best supported with expert and compassionate care. Soft Corner works with International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs), who hold the highest level of certification possible within the lactation care industry. An IBCLC must log hundreds of clinical hours, pass a rigorous examination administered through the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners (IBCLE), and complete dozens of hours of continuous education annually to retain their certifications. We recommended meeting with an IBCLC once prenatally and planning care care around day 3, week 2, and month 1 postpartum. Luckily, this is most often at NO COST to you, as we are in network with most insurance plans and most plans include at least 6 lactation visits!
