Anna Ready-Campbell

SM

ASSISTANT MIDWIFE

she/her

Anna first decided to be a midwife when she was two after seeing her brother born at home. She spent the rest of childhood and young adulthood making art, hiking through the mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire, and studying literature and environmental studies.

When she remembered her love of birth as a health volunteer in the Peace Corps, she began exploring pathways to midwifery. Anna worked at Planned Parenthood, where she broadened her passion for compassionate, equitable sexual health and reproductive care. She also worked alongside a community midwife in Vermont before deciding to get her Bachelor's of Science in Nursing with the intent to pursue a Master's in Nurse Midwifery.

Anna developed her clinical skills as a labor and delivery nurse for several years, but her abiding desire to practice as an autonomous midwife with the power to provide radical care outside of the hospital led her back to community midwifery.

At Soft Corner, Anna found a place to blend her respect for evidence with a profound desire to connect with people and support them in connecting with themselves. Her unshakeable belief in healing through embodiment inspires her dedication to listening, relationships, and advocacy.
